•  Search documents that the BNU has acquired since 1920
  •  View the general BNU computerized catalogue

 This catalogue indicates all types of documents (works, periodicals, currencies and medals, audio files, iconography, etc.)

•  You can possibly supplement your search with : 
  •  the card catalogue (information in the Catalogue Room);
  •  periodicals, for which you may query the SUDOC : Recherche avancée > type de publication : Périodiques > filtres de localisation : Etablissement documentaire : 62.

•  Search documents that the BNU has acquired before 1920 
  •  For books: see the old digitalized catalogue. The old digitalized catalogue allows you to view the entire collection of documentation that entered the Library between 1871 and 1920. The 998,300 cards were digitalized in alphabetical order according to author and anonymous names like those in the 736 “black registers” in the Catalogue Room.   • For periodicals: see the digitalized catalogue of old periodicals. The digitalized catalogue of old periodicals is also called the “Kuhlmann inventory,” named after the librarian who created it. The inventory lets you identify, locate and know the state of the oldest kept periodical collection in Strasbourg and in the Strasbourg libraries up until 1935.
