33 f. 296 x 202 mm. Unbound manuscript copied c. 1595 probably by William Trumbull [d. 1635], except f. 32v copied in a different hand. The manuscript remained in the family at Easthampstead Park, Bracknell until loaned 1954-1989 to Berkshire Record Office, Reading by the Seventh Marquess of Downshire, Arthur Wills Percy Wellington Blundell Trumbull Sandys Hill (1894-1989). Notation french. Lute with 6 or 7 courses (G c f a d’ g’).
