Handicapped users

The Fischart building (9 Rue Fischart) can be accessed by people with reduced mobility.

The BNU suggests that the visually impaired contact the following institutions, which provide relevant services:
  - the inter-establishment service for document cooperation (Service Inter-Etablissements de Coopération Documentaire) in Strasbourg, and
  - the media libraries of the city and urban community of Strasbourg.

You can also consult the resources of the national library for the handicapped (Bibliothèque Numérique pour le Handicap - BnH).
The BnH enables anyone with a handicap to borrow a selection of literary works in digital form. Registration is open to anyone with a handicap of any kind, wherever they live. Works are consulted by downloading via the Internet using ordinary computer hardware and reading software that is available free of charge.
