Inter-library borrowing ("PEB")

The BNU takes part in inter-library borrowing ("PEB"), a service that allows a network of libraries in France and other countries to make and receive requests for the supply of documents (originals and photocopies).

The PEB service keeps the same hours at the rest of the BNU.
The service is provided in the Fischart Reading room (9 Rue Fischart).

Requests for PEB

We submit requests to borrow books, dissertations and theses kept in libraries in France (except libraries in Strasbourg and the surrounding area) or elsewhere, and requests for photocopies of articles in periodicals and monographs kept in llibraries in France (except libraries in Strasbourg and the surrounding area) or elsewhere.
